How we make money

This site is run by Kris Millar in the UK. It's free to use, and it earns money in the ways listed here. We list every one, including those not switched on yet.

  • Affiliate commissions. Some links to providers may become affiliate links. If you buy through one, the provider may pay us a commission. We plan to apply to programmes run by RingCentral, Ringover, Nextiva, Quo and Zoom. No affiliate links are live yet; every provider link currently goes straight to the provider's own site.
  • Paid listings. Paid listings aren't on sale yet. When they launch, they'll work like this: Verified is a one-off payment covering one provider listing in one country for 12 months. It adds a 'Details confirmed by provider (paid)' tag. After 12 months it renews at the same price, or the tag comes off and the listing stays as a free listing. Featured is monthly and puts the listing at the top of every table in its country, labelled 'Featured (paid)', with 3 spots per country. In cost rankings it sits above the numbered rows and doesn't take a number. Featured includes verification while it's active.
  • Advertising. We may show clearly marked display ads in future. There are none now.

What payment changes, and what it doesn't

Payment never changes our prices or estimates, and paid placements are labelled. A Featured listing sits at the top of a table, labelled as paid. Payment never changes a price we show, an estimate we calculate or a provider's position among the numbered rows. Providers that pay us and providers that don't are checked the same way, from their own pricing pages.

Who's behind this

I'm Kris Millar, and I run Cloud Phone Compare independently from the UK. I started it because business phone prices are hard to compare: providers price per user, set minimum user counts, show annual and monthly prices side by side and sell add-ons on top. If something here is wrong or out of date, email [email protected] and I'll fix it.
